Thoughts:  This helmet has to bring
back images of Yaz.  How could it not?

Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox 8x10 Photo
Dates used:  1973 - 78
Inside of helmet:  Adjustrap
Manufacturer:  Sports Product Corp
Logo:  real sticker
Thoughts:  I like the idea of seeing Jim
Rice in this helmet.

Dates used:  1979 - Present
Inside of helmet:  Adjustrap
Manufacturer:  Sports Product Corp, A
Subsidiary of Laich
Logo:  screen printed
Thoughts:  If you compare this helmet
and the ones below it to the first two
helmets on this page then you will
notice that the "B" logo got much
thinner and much taller.  I'm not for
sure when this happened.

Dates used:  1979 - Present
Inside of helmet:  Adjustrap
Manufacturer:  No name
Logo:  real sticker
Thoughts:  One of those "duck bill"
helmets that I mention throughout this
website.  Different style "a" and just a
different style helmet.

Dates used:  1997
Inside of helmet:  Adjustrap
Manufacturer:  Sports Product Corp., A
Subsidiary of Laich
Thoughts:  If you look closely, the "B"
logo is different then the helmet above.
On this helmet the outline is blue with a
solid white inside.  Come to find out, this was an experiment during 1997 that didn't last long.

Dates used:  Never Used?
Inside of helmet:  Adjustrap
Manufacturer:  Sports Product Corp, A
Subsidiary of Laich
Logo:  screen printed
Thoughts:  I'm guessing that this
helmet was a promotional giveaway.
I've never found a picture of a Red Sox
player with an all red helmet.
